WHAT TO EXPECT

Interview Process

There are usually two people conducting the interview however if this is not possible we will ask your permission to record the interview so that minutes can be written up after and the decision to provide a Conditional Offer of Employment/ SLA is made by at least two people. Rolling interview slots are held on Fridays each week. Additional interview appointments can be arranged subject to availability.

Conditional Offer

A conditional offer of employment is a job offer that is dependent on the candidate meeting certain specified conditions before the offer becomes final.

For self-employed staff, the Service Level Agreement will not be issued until the same specified conditions have been met in addition to checking the status of the individual is self-employed.

Pre-employment Checks

These conditions include the following checks:

Satisfactory references from previous employers or character referees. We usually ask for one reference to be from your most recent education industry employer.
Background checks, such as criminal record checks (We require an enhanced DBS check if not on the update service)
Proof of qualifications, lisences or professional certifications
Right-to-work verification to ensure legal eligibility to work in the UK.

Offer of Employment Contract or Service Level Agreement

Once the candidate fulfils these conditions, the offer becomes unconditional, and the employment or self-employment can proceed. If the candidate fails to meet one or more of the conditions, the employer may withdraw the offer for the applied-for job.
