ACCESSIBLE TUITION FOR ALL
Rebel Alternative Learning provides high-quality tuition in the Core National Curriculum subjects and Maths, English and Digital Functional Skills. Delivered by Professional Trauma-informed Tutors, and usually offered in addition to our Rebel Impact Hub programme, this pathway is most suited to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) as their primary need.
Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) pathway provides tailored 1:1 and small group interventions delivered by SEND specialists to ensure that students receive the necessary resources and guidance to succeed academically and socially. Our SEMH and SEND tutors are highly skilled in using adaptive, child-centred teaching methods to ensure that every student receives personalised support tailored to their unique learning requirements.
The Rebel Wellbeing Hub expands our support by delivering tuition in PSHE, Art, Yoga Mindfulness and Spiritual, Moral, Social, and Cultural (SMSC) education. This is open as a universal service - inclusive of all study levels and educational needs.
Through our Rebel Impact Hub, we offer the option for students to complete qualifications in Level 1 Award or 2 Certificate in Exploring Enterprise and the Award, Certificate, Extended Certificate and Diploma (Entry-level, Level 1 and Level 2) in Personal Development and Employability Skills (PDE)

SEND Specialist Tuition
At Rebel Tuition and Impact Hub, we harness the AQA Unit Award Scheme (UAS) to customize our teaching to each student’s unique interests and learning levels. This scheme is especially beneficial for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), fostering an inclusive environment where every learner can flourish.
1. Mapped to Core Subjects: We align specific UAS units with the Core Subjects of the GCSE and Functional Skills specifications adapting these to individual interests, sparking their enthusiasm for core subjects.
2. Tailored Learning: Our team designs individualised units that connect to topics our students find engaging and relevant, deepening their interest in education. Each unit builds on prior knowledge, enabling students to progress at a personal pace and ensuring that everyone is recognised for their hard work.
3. Recognition of Achievements: The UAS provides professional certificates for short learning units, helping students visualise the tangible outcomes of their efforts which significantly boosts motivation, self-esteem and confidence.
4. Skill Development: Our emphasis on practical, hands-on learning experiences underpins our education engagement strategy and equips students with essential skills applicable in real-world situations.
Through personalised and engaging learning experiences, we empower our students to take ownership of their educational journeys, helping them cultivate the skills and confidence they need for future success.
INTRODUCING
SPECIALISED PROGRAMME FOR YOUNG PEOPLE MOVING ON UP IN INDEPENDENCE

Moving On Independently helps to facilitate the conversations that young people will have with a trusted adult while preparing to live independently. The design is aligned with the HM Government’s Care Leaver Strategy which aims to reduce the likelihood of homelessness or other negative outcomes for young care leavers. The modules promote positive outcomes for young people through a range of identified practical learning areas in preparation for adulthood.
This programme is available to young people 14 -25. Young people may be transitioning from children to adult services and or moving from their family/carer home into independent living. It can also be used for learners with complex needs and/or disabilities.
